"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in San Diego – Exceptional Hospitality and Value! After visiting San Diego regularly for the past 35 years, it’s rare that I rave about a hotel experience. However, our recent stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego–Miramar deserves special recognition! The property is clean, recently renovated, and conveniently located near the freeway, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities. There’s even a fantastic Mexican restaurant just steps away! The hotel is tucked away on a small hillside in what I consider a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and I have to mention the shower—the water pressure and volume were absolutely amazing! Sometimes it’s the little things that make a stay memorable. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional customer service! A special thank-you to Ivan, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. My significant other had recently undergone a medical procedure, and Ivan graciously provided extra pillows for her comfort. Even more impressive, the hotel approved our late checkout without charging a single penny! In an industry where seemingly everything comes with an additional fee, this level of hospitality is genuinely refreshing! The swimming pool was clean, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—a notch or two above your typical continental breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the yogurt dispenser with its assortment of toppings! Th"

"Vrey convenient place to stay for the money. Spacious and very comfortable room for the most part. Currently, I have a mobility handicap and I booked a room here that was listed as "accessible". When I got there I was told that no accessible rooms were available (and I was checking in early). Further, I was told that the accessible rooms are sold out well in advance to "long term residents" . That's understandable but then these rooms should not be made available on the website. This is misleading. Not purely intentional but misleading nonetheless. I would have made other arrangements had I known."
