“Clean, quiet, and very private retreat in nice neighborhood, just a short distance from downtown Arcata, shops and restaurants. It was perfect as a base to explore the area from Eureka to Trinidad, with lots of opportunities to hike in the redwoods, birdwatch at the famous Arcata Marsh, and stroll/tidepool at the many beaches.”

“While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow”

“This was a perfect resting spot for my daughter and I. I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 people as it is quite a compact space. The beds were extremely comfortable and the space was very clean. There was space on the counter for all your coffee and snacking needs and the mini fridge held our leftovers just right. Great central location for beautiful hikes and great food. Extra responsive host who was very helpful. Ask about her other rentals that are meant for different sized groups. The……
