Great location in the city. Can be a bit noisy until the bar closes. Good for a light traveler, could be a bit hard to haul a heavy bag up the stairs. Room was comfortable.

The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.

The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! The hotel is in a lovely locations, the rooms are all unique and have lovely views, comfortable beds, and luxury bedding. The restaurant is top notch!!!

Bar room was fun and good food

The room was clean. The majority of the staff was very helpful and attentive. We had a couple of minor inconveniences, such as the room was not prepared when we arrived. We had requested 2 beds and it was made with one. We had to request twice for it to be made up properly before it was done. (The housekeeping staff was very apologetic.) For the cost, more than $550/night, the view out the large lovely window was of the parking lot. :( And we had hoped for a historic hotel as that is what we searched for, and the main hotel was lovely and historic, but we were housed out in the newer spa building across the parking lot. Nice and clean, but not historic. Also, it’s a bit of a walk to the city center. About 20-25 minutes walk.
