“What a magical stay at an amazing cabin. Well fitted out with everything you will need. We loved all the little details the host has provided to make the stay so much more special. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and sitting around the open fire with a drink. A well worth while stay and recommend to everyone. Well done!”

“The bach is excellent, light, clean and comfortable. What makes this bach exceptional are the extras... a good sauna, a relaxing spa pool and a cold bath for the (fool)hardy. There was electrolyte water to drink afterwards and craft supplies rather than a TV which was a nice touch. We could only stay one night this time didn't have time to ride the bikes around Point Wells which is a charming little settlement. We did buy excellent takeaways from the little store close by which were...

“It is as described, basic amenities, easily heated in winter, would be hot in summer.Comfortable beds. Friendly dog, chickens and goats. As noted by others, unsignposted, unlit rough track to property: 1.5 kms. Arriving after sunset on a wet winter night wasn’t pleasant, and the rain overnight made me worry about how it would be in the morning. The explanation that the hosts don’t want people to find them seems very odd when it is an income producing exercise and not an obvious target for theft....

“Such a lovely change from the usual! We loved sitting on the porch looking out onto the beautiful rolling countryside. Nights were quiet and dark. TV/WIFI were great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was cozy, but fine. Queensize bed. Excellent communication. Fine parking. Only minus for us was that the sheets were of linen ... not a pleasant skin feel for me.”

“Lovely little unit for our stay in Orewa. Close to shops, bus stop and beach. Well equipped kitchen and adjoining laundry room. Parking for car and an outdoor shower when returning from the beach. We stayed in winter and it was cosy. ”
