"The hotel hallways and rooms, were spotless. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and although we were a bit concerned about after hours check-in using a lock box to get room key, details provided were excellent and access was seamless. It has a great location, and despite just off main avenue, it was very quiet. This is a 3-star property meaning there are no extra amenities like restaurant, gym or pool so wouldn't recommend for families with kids. It's good value for someone looking...

"We had an absolutely brilliant stay for two nights half board in a side seaview top double room. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet and evening buffet were amazing. "Room was lovely and big. Nice balcony. Views are of the industrial port so “sea view” is technically correct but it’s not what most people might imagine! Nice sky bar (16th floor). Shower and bed both good. Lighting - as so often in hotels - not great. Always had to request towels in the gym/sauna area - lack of checks to ensure they were available. Breakfast was excellent - big choice, good egg station. "

"The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing short of deplorable. You're much better off at a property in the middle of town that charges quite a bit less and gives you a lot more."
