“This place is very clean and comfortable! We enjoy the close proximity to all of the best places to visit in Southport. The pool, patio, beach area and pier are great! All of the staff are friendly and helpful!!”

“Retired couple and our room was substandard. Elevator not working so had to stay on first floor. Contractors parked vehicles outside our window and started at 5am to idle for 1/2 hour. Smoke detector went off at 4am and front desk had no batteries and no way to fix so we had to climb on chair and unhook it ourselves. Large bugs in the room and bugs fell out of smoke detector when unhooked it. Hotel was spraying for bugs in lobby and we understand NC does have bugs but we should not have……

“We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. There was a very strong odor of dog urine in the office. The owner/ receptionist had 3 dogs running around in there. The rooms were reasonably clean. However there were used false eyelashes and a couple of press on nails left on top of the microwave. The first day went well. The second day we went to the pool. There was an electrical outlet on the wall that my daughter plugged her phone charger into. There were no signs stating not to use outlet. The owner/……

“Great location! Super close to the water. Upper level rooms can see the water from the chairs outside the rooms. Nothing fancy just functional. Very clean. Plenty of plugs for charging. Bathroom was a bit tight. Had the smallest sink I’ve ever seen. Comfy bed.”

“The room was super pretty and had some nice amenities to it. I will say we had to seep our floor when we checked it cause it was covered in sand and didn’t look like it had been swept or mopped. Also it took us 2 days to receive more towels but other than that beautiful place, very cozy”
