Bahia is a very nice hotel with so many things going on—you can never be bored! There are great concerts in the lobby, on the beach, and by the pool. Every night feels like a party. The entertainment team is wonderful—very friendly and always full of energy. They organize many activities like yoga, pool aerobics, biking in the pool, dance lessons, and lots of games. They speak very good English and always have nice conversations with guests. They are very intelligent and professional people. Special thanks to Edgar , Luis, Wilson and his brother ( I forgot his name ) and Rocky , Rolando and Gabriel and also all other stuff. They all work very hard to make every day fun and enjoyable for the guests. Also, Yamar, the man who prepares pineapple and coconut fruit by the pool, is very friendly. And Juan from the Italian restaurant provided excellent and very professional service. I also had a massage at the spa and it was wonderful. The ladies were very professional and made the experience very relaxing. Thank you all for making our stay so special!

Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms in another section section of the resort have them. Even after a partial adjustment through Expedia, the value was not there. The main pool shows visible wear, and overall upkeep does not reflect a luxury rate. Concierge service lacked initiative. When restaurants were full, we had to prompt alternatives. There was also confusion about what our stay included, despite the high rate, it covered no meals or experiences, only the room and a golf cart. Dining was good overall. Breakfast at Lago stood out thanks to Jael, who delivered the only truly five-star service we experienced. The property and golf course are beautiful, but service precision, clarity, and overall value fall short of true luxury standards.

The rooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful, beach beautiful and food spectacular. So many options for activities, food and other amenities. We will definitely be back.

Pools closed too early. Resort routinely smelled of sewage. Food was average. Rooms were great but a/c couldn’t keep up. Main ‘mall’ area was excellent. So much to see and shop. Room service was above average!

Our overall stay had some positives, but there were a few major issues that really affected our experience. First, I want to mention that some members of the staff around the resort were genuinely kind and helpful. Housekeeping and a few employees in the common areas were friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience at the steakhouse near the buffet was extremely disappointing. The service there was awful from the moment we sat down. Our server clearly did not want to be there and was very rude to our table the entire time. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. The food was also very poor. The salmon was served completely burned, and overall the meal was one of the worst we had during the trip. Another serious concern was the lack of security in the disco. There was no one monitoring the crowd or checking for people who were clearly overly intoxicated. On top of that, many people were smoking inside the club, and no staff members were addressing it. The environment felt unmanaged and uncomfortable. While parts of the resort and some staff members were pleasant, the poor restaurant experience and lack of oversight in the disco made the stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.
