“I would give a five star rating if only we could control the temperature in our freezing cold room. The owner told us the control for the air conditioning was in the room next door. He gave us access to a key for the room but we couldn’t unlock the door. The owner was a really personable guy so good to talk to. Breakfast was cooked to order which was very nice”

“This is a bare-bones hotel, and it’s not aging well for how new it is. Hallways aren’t air-conditioned & it took about 8 hours for the room to get down to a tolerable temperature. Parking lot was absolutely full when we got back after midnight. Upsides: Room and bathroom were clean, with an excellent handicap-accessible bathtub with adjustable shower height and lots of well-placed grab bars. Breakfast was better than I expected, given the sparseness of everything else. Coffee was good……

The bedside USB charger was completely smashed and unusable. The bathroom/closet door doesn’t close all the way. ”

“My stay was disappointing overall. The hotel had several maintenance and service issues that affected the experience. The elevator was broken, which made it inconvenient to get around the property. Inside the room, the thermostat did not work properly. When I tried to adjust the temperature from 70 to 71 degrees, either the air conditioning would turn on full blast or the heater would turn on full blast. There was no way to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The room phone was also……
