“The place was beautiful and well maintained the only issue was about the breakfast, that was a decision maker to stay there and it wasn’t provided by the owner. I understand things happen but this is something that you should warned people about because by the email the owner sent the day before we arrived is something that happens some months on the weekends during summer, soo not really happy about that, plus I was supposed to get a refund for that and let see if I can get some of that money……

“I honestly have never left a review in 20 years of traveling. Good or bad. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. My wife and I booked a standard room on a whim and were more satisfied than some suites we've spent hundreds on for a weekend. The cocktail lounge is small but intimate and you won't get a bad drink. This place exceeded all expectations. Props to the hotel management and staff. Incredible gem you guys have created”

“Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. “The layout of the condominium was wonderful, and very comfortable for my husband and me, our two daughters and their spouses and children. A great common area and kitchen and the bedrooms were very comfortable. My husband, especially enjoyed the sauna. Shanty Creek is also a lovely resort. The company overseeing the property could do a better job- clothes were left in a drawer, condiments in the refrigerator and laundry in the dryer. The pool pass had expired, and I ended up calling the owner as……
