"Fantastic Stay – Great Value for Money! Truly loved my stay at Kuta Paradiso Hotel and would definitely stay again. Great location, with wonderful, welcoming and accommodating staff. Excellent value with free buffet breakfast, airport transfers, a free 30-minute massage, massage/food discounts and an IDR 200,000 food & beverage voucher. Breakfast was fabulous, the pool was spacious and always sparkling clean, and my room was always clean with a lovely pool and restaurant view. I was too shy to get a massage at first, but finally did it and it was fantastic! The lovely therapist was reassuring, funny and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed — and I discovered plenty of knots in my upper back and neck! I also hired hotel driver Ngurah for a private Ubud day tour for IDR 900,000 (approx. NZD $85) and happily gave him a bonus for his excellent service. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and secure. We visited a Batik workshop, Luwak Coffee Plantation, Swing Heaven and Butterfly Park with many varieties of butterflies and beautiful orchids. Swing Heaven was definitely my favourite! Only recommendation, The rooms are a little dated, an upgrade is long overdue however overall an awesome stay and excellent value for money. "Beautiful surrounds, gorgeous lobby, staff were so kind and hospitable. Buffet breakfast at Kunyit - amazing variety (I really enjoyed their Indonesian dishes). Room was perfect and comfortable - plush beds, hot showers, mini bar with drinks and snacks replenished for free. Numerous pools to choose from. Central location just a few metres from Discovery Mall, eateries and shops. So pleased that we stayed here this visit. Would love to come back here again."

"+ good breakfast spread; efficient and personable staff managing the breakfast + great spa; clean and reasonably priced + modern fittings and fixtures in the rooms + right next door to many stores (uniqlo, H&M etc), and close to many restaurants/coffee houses. + efficient check-in and check-out; they facilitated early check-in and late check-out + easy to arrange cabs from them, and their markup on the price is reasonable - the one thing that we weren't satisfied with was the dinner + cocktails at daily social. the old fashioned was mid. the food wasn't great either. the person serving us was aloof and disconnected. overall, except for that one negative experience, the rest was great, so i'd highly recommend."
