"This is a charming inn with two different old houses. It’s well located and has a fabulous breakfast that’s included. Two things I would say for house we were in. One, there is no indoor sitting area. Our room, while quite large, had only a small love seat and the common area was not decorated to accommodate sitting. So having indoor drinks before dinner wasn’t really a good option. There is a very nice patio for outdoor relaxing. The bigger issue was the ice maker. It is LOUD and it went off at irregular intervals during two of our three nights. Apparently it is supposed to be turned off at night but it wasn’t. It was impossible to sleep through. Otherwise, we had good service and a nice stay"

"I woke up in the middle of the night with about 100 ants next to my bed. But I can’t even tell the staff until 9 AM because there’s no staff at night. When I did finally get to the staff they only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you do not run that room. It is terrible. I wasn’t able to get athey only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you do not run that room. It is terrible. I wasn’t able to get a refund I wasn’t able to get out of my contract. They were gonna make me stay regardless of ants and regardless if I was comfortable, staying in the ice cave room or not. I would not recommend this hotel. It is a one to star 1 to 2 star hotel if that."

"This hotel was a great gem in the middle of downtown Salem. We enjoyed being able to walk to almost every point of interest. The room was spacious and chic. The shower was a bit small and parking was horrendous. The hotel host a lot of events so that contributed to the abundance of people in the area but we eventually got a spot toward the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here."
