Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Collection

8/10 Good

"The room was very neat and clean. Quiet. I wish hotels had rods or hooks to hang wet towels. Pleasant experience and good price"

Spark by Hilton Rochester University Area

8/10 Good

"The Spark hotel had convenient access from the highway and was close to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants. Staff at the desk were nice and helpful and accommodated my request for a quiet room. The room was clean and neatly furnished. Lighting was nice. The only problems were the smoke detector flashed every 12 seconds all night and it was distracting. Thinking is was a bad battery we took it to the front desk and the person chastized us saying it is supposed to be that way. Also there was a shrill electrical sound in the room which came from where the TV was located. Some probably would not notice but those who do would find it a problem. Breakfast was ok but people were backed up trying to toast their bagels so more machines are needed."

Best Western Rochester Marketplace Inn

8/10 Good

"If you're into clean, it's the place to be. The property is well kept, the rooms are fresh, beddings are fresh, they did a good job on keeping the place clean. The breakfast could use some improvement, in that, there needs to be a bit of variety when it comes to meat kind. The eggs should be scrambled, and not looking like patties. I skipped the breakfast for these reasons. Overall, I would go there again."

RIT Inn & Conference Center

8/10 Good

"I’ve stayed here many times in the last few months and have always had a wonderful experience until this weekend and even then it wasn’t bad it just was ok. The light was blown in the room in the ceiling and one of the lamps also did not work. And the toilet wouldn’t stop running and didn’t flush well. I notified the front desk and they were very attentive in responding and taking care of things. The only other thing was the tub had a couple splashes of something dried to the bottom. I’ve found the rooms on the above floors are remodeled and nicer than the first floor rooms but still clean and the beds are comfy."
