This listing came up when searching for single family homes to rent and we loved that it was at our favorite beach. The description mentions that this listing is only one level but that was not clear in the photos or search terms. We did not end up staying at this rental because it was unsatisfactory upon our arrival to check in. The rental is only the bottom rooms of the house and the top was occupied when……

“House was so cute with amazing history. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. They even turned the porch lights on for us when they learned we would arrive after dark! Highly recommend Mermaid Cottages and this house. We walked everywhere and others staying in the neighborhood were all friendly and respectful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. Would definitely stay here again. ”
