"Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities. Attached is a wonderful kosher restaurant. Even though the elevator was out of order, they notified us ahead of time and moved our room to a lower floor. Parking is a dedicated lot across the street. We will be back."

"I really enjoyed the Sandman. The room was very comfortable with extra space to sit and relax. The pool and hot tub were great! The property is well taken care of and updated. I recently stayed at a sister property in Anderson, CA so I knew the Sandman would also be on par. The breakfast was a nice bonus as well. I will definitely book Ascend Collection properties for future travels."

"This was our fourth year staying at this wonderful beach house, and we already made our reservation for next year! The large, fenced yard is perfect for our dogs, and we love spending our days relaxing, reading, and listening to the sound of the ocean. The house is always spotless and has a fun, quirky charm that makes it feel like a true beach getaway. We always leave feeling refreshed and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!"

"Really lovely place. As noted in the listing, the bathroom is very small and could be a challenge for very tall people (I’m am 5’10” and my head was close to the ceiling when using the sink). The view is remarkable. Very comfortable living space. Great kitchen. The landscaping is so well thought out and beautiful. The next door neighbor was very friendly when we encountered her outside. We actually saw a fox kit come up on the deck one morning. It was very cool! Would absolutely stay here again."

"I booked this property for the view and it is even better than the photos. We were very happy with the amenities, and everything was clean and in working order. For those of you who haven't visited before, Bodega Bay is not a walkable town because there are no shoulders along Highway 1, the main road through town. We really liked being a few steps away from Diekmann's store, which was safe to walk to and has a great selection of groceries and sells fresh pizzas, burritos, and sandwiches."

"The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to do. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was also well stocked. I even forgot to bring my toothbrush and was pleasantly surprised to see toiletries were also provided. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog to roam. We will definitely be staying here again."
