“The Carlisle is a lovely, upscale hotel with a gorgeous 3-story spiral staircase. All the rooms on our side of the building had balconies with chairs overlooking the valley. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is listed as continental, but always has a hot dish as well as boiled eggs and Belgian waffles. Our room was spacious, updated and clean. The bathroom design was unique in that there was a sink, wall-to-wall mirror and countertop in the walk in……

“Noteworthy: check in early and Be sure to book directly with the hotel, not a 3rd party booking site even though for 2 rooms, it was $400 cheaper. I hope our experience was a one-off. We were confronted upon check-in with little slips of paper and numbers to call to deal with a glitch caused by the third party online booking. “I asked to see the room prior to paying There are no coffee machines. No ice machines towels ARE VERY USED, 1 small bar of soap. No ADA ROOMS 2 towels vert ratty ,2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths. Tub is from the 80's as are the 2 handle tub valves. Diverter spout sticks in up position ( found out hard way). Shower head is from 80's. Price Pfister.
