“We were very disappointed to find that our room was actually a smoking room ( even though the front desk promised that it wasn’t). The odor when we opened up the door was over powering. ( our cpap machines the next night at home even had the odor). The sofa in the room was gross, old, saggy and stained. The bathroom was very small and the sink was part of the kitchenette. You might ask why did we stay, the answer we could not find any other rooms in the area.”

“We have stayed at both Walnut Creek and Sugar Creek. Both are excellent choices though we frequent Walnut Creek more often being closest to Berlin and the shops. Though not new facilities you would think that they were just recently built due to their excellent upkeep. Cleanliness, neatness, freshness are good descriptive words for these facilities. Good food is just steps away as are treats and gifts. I would highly recommend either facility for those wishing to enjoy Amish country. Tom”
