Nice spot in the heart of Boston

Posted Feb 18, 2017
Pros: Spacious rooms, Eastern Standard and nice staff.
Location: Right in Kenmore Square and on the Green Line... you can walk or take the T to anywhere in the city from here. Super convenient location.
Had to extend a trip to Boston by an extra day and this was an awesome option for the night. Rooms that are large, modern and very clean are set in a smaller but elegant setting. Love the tie-ins with the city and the Red Sox!! An awesome restaurant like Eastern Standard on-site certainly doesn't hurt either!

Nice place.

Excellent location. Nice hotel with 2 delicious restaurants. Only complaint is for an executive suite to have a simple bathroom with a basic bathtub at such a high caliber hotel is sad. Takes an A+ down to a B-

Beautiful hotel for a Valentine's Day Weekend

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Pros: The staff, location, and comfort of the room
Cons: Nothing
Location: Located in the heart of Kenmore, it is steps away from amazing restaurants and bars, as well as down the block from Fenway and all that has to offer
My boyfriend live close to the city but wanted to have a night on the town. Hotel Commonwealth was the ideal location. We went to a show close by and then dined at the hotel's restaurant Eastern Standard, one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The staff checking in were helpful and courteous, and the room service was timely and attentive. If you're looking for a quality hotel in the middle of Kenmore, then look no further.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Boston.

The hotel was better than I expected. It was just across the highway from Fenway Park, but traffic noise was minimal. Also, Boston University is only a couple blocks away.

Best hotel room I've stayed in recently. The room layout was great and the furniture was very high quality. Great restaurants downstairs too!

Nice hotel located in the heart of Kenmore Square

Posted Jan 31, 2017
Pros: The staff which, alone would encourage me to return.
Cons: As noted above, the climate control was really annoying and will wake you up during the night. Shower pressure needs improvement.
Location: In Kenmore Square you're close to Fenway Park, Newberry St., Boston Common (Cheers) and Copley Square.
The staff was absolutely excellent. They were all courteous, helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist with all matters, large or small. Room was acceptable although promised king size bed shrunk to a queen size and the climate control unit that was located in the room was quite noisy and disturbing to sleep. Bathroom was very nice and elegant although the shower head was like rainfall with very little pressure. This should have been adjustable. Towels were ample and clean. Common areas were more than pleasant and restaurants and bars within the complex were also very good and hospitable. valet parking was very convenient and prompt. We'll definitely stay there again when visiting Boston.
