The facility is beautiful, clean, and our room was unique (loft). However, there was no help with luggage upon arrival through the many steps and doors which required to be pulled & pushed. Staff just watched us struggle with both doors and luggage as we arrived and departed. The area around the hotel was quiet but not for walking around. Location is convenient to get to center London via Poplar station. We brought foods from Canary Wharf for breakfasts and snacks as there was nothing around the hotel, particularly after dark.

The Lansbury Heritage hotel was great for our one night stay to see ABBAVoyage near Stratford station and then fly out of London City Airport in the early next morning. It's a quick walk to the DLR tube station or the Elizabeth Line over in Canary Wharf. The hotel is gorgeous, clean, new-feeling; it seems pretty out of place in the residential area it is nestled in yet that's not super important, and it's an easy spot from which to grab an uber. The awesome value for this hotel compared to the hotels closer to CW going for 4x the price made it such an enjoyable stay, too.

This property was very nice and very conveniently located for what we needed. Our luggage was looked after while we were out for the day, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The electrical side of things in the room was a little complicated and not clear but we got our heads around it. There also seemed to be quite a bit of noise through the night when we were trying to sleep but other than that it was quite comfortable.
