4/5 - Good
Small laid back local town in the near large resort type places. If you want a small town feel before all the large all-inclusives take over, it'll be a good place for you.

The best as always highly recomended

Beautiful property and the concierge was extremely helpful! The only thing I’ll say is be prepared to drive. Nothing is really walkable but great stay regardless.

The king bed sloped towards the center. Two people could sleep in it.

Sunbathe on the soft sand, snorkel in the clear ocean water and spy turtles, crocodiles and monkeys at a marine park at this scenic beach.

Explore the lovely green spaces of Las Baulas National Marine Park and enjoy the surfing in Playa Grande. Wander the beautiful beaches or discover the area's beautiful sunsets.
Play a round of golf in Playa Conchal at Reserva Conchal Golf Course, and enjoy other activities such as surfing. Amble around this relaxing area's beautiful beaches, or seek out the local tours.

We enjoyed our stay in Brasilito. It is somewhat rustic, but it is nice that is is not heavily developed like some other resorts. It is peaceful, with beautiful nature.
This is not a tourist town. It is a real Costa Rican town with delicious Costa Rican food, unbelievably friendly people and the prettiest beach in the area. Conchal beach. The Sunsets at Indira Bar are incredible!
The area is ok. The beach is super nice. We love Conchal.
I would recommend Brasilito, and Playa Conchal, over Tamarindo in a minute. This beach is beautiful and quiet, although a bit of a hike from the main beach in Brasilito. Accommodation is also more affordable.
Very relaxed and laid back town without big usa tourist crowds. More locals. Very nice experience. You can drive to Flamingo beach area if you need more of a built up area
