“We stayed here a year ago, and when we decided to drive out to the Hamptons, this was our no-brainer choice. It's not a luxury resort, but you're not gonna pay luxury prices. The "room" is truly a suite, with a large living room, which includes a kitchenette -- and a full size refrigerator, not the typical mini. The room is clean, modern and quiet. (we prefer the upper level). Our only negative is that it's really at the very start of what most people consider The Hamptons, so it's a drive --……

“We stayed at the Shoals for 3 nights. Something I didn't realize was that there are no rooms directly facing the water - all rooms look out to the parking lot. The property and rooms were very clean and very well maintained, however many things were lacking. 1.) MAJOR concern: We asked for a pack n play for our baby and they brought up a mattress with it. We looked up the mattress brand (Spring Spirit) and it was recalled in 2024!! Parents: please check all the items you receive!! We were……

“They claimed it was a renewed hotel, it was older than before when it was called Baron Cove. Old rooms, old showers, I tried taking a shower then bathtub wasn’t passing the water down, the bathtub got filled up quickly with water. The pool looked tired, the service at the pool was horrible, staff didn’t know the menu. Disaster. So sad for this hotel as it was a classic back in the day.”

“Nice property in central location of EH. Each building & room has a different layout/decor. Property was nicely maintained (pool, park area, gym & lobby). The air conditioning unit is VERY loud. That was at times a bit uncomfortable. The hotel provides a beach pass which is crucial since parking @ beach is restricted. Unfortunately, no beach towels are provided (only pool towels). We were told they go missing, guests leave them at beach. Suggestion: charge for lost beach towels as hotels do for……
