“I had to stay one night only, for a short business trip and I am glad i found this place. I was not expecting the most luxury nor up to date hotel after reading some reviews but as long as it was clean i was satisfied. Well, i booked the small room and i was very pleased, it was immaculately clean, the sheets were super soft, and all pressed. This will be my regular place every time I need to travel to this area. I am.glad I found it and i didn't break the bank to stay in The Hamptons. ”

“We were looking for a quick overnight in the East End, and the Harpoon House exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious (a suite!) and well-appointed, blending the charm of the original 1648 (!) building with modern amenities and furnishings. We didn't take advantage of the on-property restaurant (formerly Blu Mar), but the menu - by acclaimed chef Rocco DiSpirito - looked excellent, if a bit pricey. Location was ideal, within easy walking distance of all Main Street shops and……

“Newly Renovated and extremely clean, well kept, and inviting rooms. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Location is ideally situated close to lots of shops, Goldbergs for bagels, East Hampton Beaches etc. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area.”

“An absolute gem. Came for a quiet getaway and the perfect storm of calmness. Will is a wonderful host, making sure I was welll taken care of and focusing on every detail. He made sure I was able to check in and reach him during a winter storm and was readily available. The place is wonderful and filled with lots of fireplaces and room amenities that feel spa like and warm. Best night sleep I’ve had in a cloud of pillows and bed, in such a long time. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. ”

“The House on Chase Creek is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’ve been telling him about Shelter Island literally for almost 40 years. Well we finally made it and the trip, the home, the welcoming of my dog, was all so just so welcoming and nice.
