I left and came back - when I entered, it smelled nicely and was cute, I even texted the host that I loved the room and that is smelled nice. We were pleased when Matthew called to confirm our reservation and then texted us the day before arrival with the address. The owners were very friendly, too. This was the most inexpensive room in our week long trip up the California Oregon coast. I wasn’t expecting much, so I was a little surprised to find such a nice clean room waiting for us! Very comfy bed, and an ocean view! Are you kidding me??? This place is the deal of the century! Highly recommend!!!

Very clean, affordable room, which is all we really needed. My only complaint is the road noise was very noticable all night long, and the AC unit didn't have a continual fan option for heat or AC only for fan only. If we could have had the heat on with the fan running continuously it would've completely drowned the road noise out. But we had a nice stay and would still recommend it to others!

Thos is my best reconendation for anyone on a budget. Place is quiet rooms are very clean all aminities. If you have to budget your looking at five star accomodations for 3 star prices. Just be ware all the motels in town place $150 hold on yiur card like a deposit. Un till check out they see your room

We got the same room this year as we did last year and the room was perfect, except for the removed the table that would be used to eat at. So the bed was all we had to manage with. And the shower seemed to struggle with draining. Otherwise it was absolutely perfect and we will be returning again. I know when I book my room, I will need to add that I had a stroke and would prefer a downstairs room. As it's hard to climb three flights of stairs. Lol my fault not theirs.

Great motel. We had a single bed room, and there was a lot of space. We loved the mid-century furniture, the beautiful curly redwood, and the covered parking right outside our room. Owners have done a very nice job either maintaining the property or restoring it. It looks just like the posted pictures.
