Buritaca Vacation Packages
Buritaca is surrounded by interesting villages, towns and cities just waiting to be enjoyed. Bonda and Palomino are two more places worth visiting while you're in Magdalena.
Santa Marta is about 30 miles (48 kilometers) from Buritaca. This regional center offers a some great visitor attractions, including Tayrona National Park, Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and Ciudad Perdida. Rodadero Beach, Taganga Beach and Santa Marta Cathedral are more attractions here that should be included on every traveler's to-do list.
Knowing a little Spanish can sometimes be the difference between a run-of-the-mill vacation and a journey into the very heart of Magdalena. Coming to grips with a range of easy sentences, such as "¿Querría bailar conmigo?", which is "Would you like to dance with me?", can help to make your stay more pleasant. "This gentleman will pay for everything" is another good one know, so try pronouncing "Este caballero pagará por todo"
Independence Day is celebrated on the 20th of July, so if you're lucky enough to be in Buritaca then, put aside your sightseeing and join in the local festivities with happy locals.
As your time here draws to an end, spend what's left of your Colombian pesos on last-minute keepsakes and say Adiós to the locals you've met and the spots you've enjoyed.
