Only received a refund when we complained and pointed out that had I come and just bought a coffee I would have been eligible for free parking as I would have been considered to be a customer. But not considered to be a customer when staying overnight. ”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

“Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone……

“The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. Thanks so much, Chris and Sue, I'll definitely be……

“We enjoyed our stay, everything is great! ”

“Extremely poor condition of the door to room 3, which was the room I was given on 11 March. My room was an external room of the Inn and therefore the security of the guest experience should be of a much higher level than if the guest was located within the actual main building. However, the door lock to my external room had clearly been breached with a screwdriver at some point in the past. Was this damage caused during a burglary, perhap?? It did not appear to be recent damage, as the exposed……

“An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . ”
