The atmosphere on the property was very peaceful and relaxing. However, there were obvious gaps around the doors which allowed insects into the room and we came home with numerous bug bites.

The resort is an easy ride from Liberia, little over an hour. If you can, book one of the mountain rooms. Best location, close to all and an easy walk to El Mirador. Rent a car and visit as much as you can. Driving is easy but you do need to watch for bikes, walkers, cows, etc. The paved roads are wonderful and the gravel roads need work but just drive slower and more cautiously and you will be fine.
