Enjoyed a boat trip up the river. Saw alot of monkeys, crocs, birds and iguanas.

Mosquito heaven. Even with lots of repellent, they were all over.
Depending on season, bring bug spray, sun block, ponchos.
Get there early to book a boat tour and bring lots of mosquito repellent.
Be prepared for a rodeo ride to the river. Roads are poor on most of the route. The river cruise was worth it though. Lots of wildlife.
