This is a great hotel for younger travellers looking to stay right downtown in the party zone. It is very clean, but the pictures give the impression it is more updated than it is. It is an older property, and reflects it. Sound from the surrounding bars is unavoidable, but somewhat drowned out by the blasting air conditioner, which we could not figure out how to turn down. I would not recommend this property for travellers who want a quiet place to stay. Finally, there is no place to stop in front of or near the hotel. We circled the block multiple times before just pulling into a parkade across the street. It turns out that parkade was also used by the hotel, but the elevator is broken and we had to huff our bags down five flights of stairs.
