“Our stay at the Chameleon Hotel was good. We were pretty wary when we pulled up because the outside looks extremely run down, but based on other reviews we decided to give it a try. Inside was good and our room was very clean and bright with large windows. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. “Room was clean with lots of space. The lady in the office is pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning was good. It’s a quiet spot.”

“Fire alarm started beeping at 3:30am and required us to call the manager to confirm no fire danger…no one responded to the first call to operator and finally a staff person came to the door…fire alarm went off again but then was silent for the rest of the night…not a good night’s sleep but we were offered another room to stay in but we didn’t take it…not going to leave our room without taking our bags as suggested by staff member…room was really warm and had problems with the air...

“What a great little spot. The hotel was very historic the bar and gril good. Had fun playing pool with a couple of local woman - so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely go back. If you are there, you must check out the rock art around town. Very impressive”
