“I don’t have enough good things to say about this property. The rooms are very well cleaned and adequately maintained, despite it being an older property. The exterior is super cute and there are accommodating areas to gather, including a fire pit. It’s very quiet. The best thing about it is the manager. She is an absolute doll. She took great care of our elderly parents, going WAY above and beyond to make sure their stay was superb. I can 100% recommend this property if you want to avoid the……

“I have no idea how this property has a good rating on the Expedia site. That was not our experience. The room was not clean with wrappers on the floor and a dirty towel on the shelf. We arrived later in the evening and when we got up the next morning all I wanted just wanted to get out of there. I did speak with the staff and she said I should have asked for another room. Lesson learned. No apology.”

“Our stay was not great. The hotel and room both smelled like dog, the room was not especially clean, and we had ants in our room. The bathroom door frame was loose and made a very loud noise every time the door opened. Breakfast was also sub-par. The biggest concern was that staff told someone else what room we were staying in. “This is a great little place to stay between KC and STL. Its in a small quiet town with a few places to eat. The hotel has been renovated and my room was clean and comfortable. Support this local business!”

“This was a scary stay. I told my kids that I thought that I was staying at the Bates Motel (google the movie Psycho if you are not familiar). It is in a desolate area and gave off a creepy vibe. The parking lot has huge potholes. The room itself was pretty good. I have no complaints there. No coffee or breakfast available in the morning. Good internet connection, which was an issue with other hotels that I have stayed at. I would not stay here again.”
