My bucket list is to visit all 59 US National Parks. So far, we've visited over 30... here's one of them.

Lassen National Park is up there with the newest national park, Pinnacles, as most obscure in California. This park used to be a volcano that went off in the not-so-far past. Lassen boasts mountains, lakes, and thermal features. Go in the winter for less crowds and lots of #snow!

“Was very comfortable! I loved it. The place was immaculate. So quiet and private while we were there. Beautiful view of the woods out the window. There was every amenity one might want. They even had games that we played.Such a great central location to access Placerville and surrounding areas. “Overall a very nice place. The atmosphere was very peaceful and homey. My recommendations would be more towels provided. There was a set of two per person, which, if you set aside one set for after the hot tub use, you are down to one, which after daily hikes outside, is not the best for a stay greater than 3 days. My other thought was for better signage to find the unit. It is a sharp right and down hill from the primary residence, which can be hard to see from the driveway leading in.……

“A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade.
