As a country boy I loved the simple country setting. It was a perfect stopover for my wife and I as we traveled through the Central Valley to checking out the almond bloom, plus it’s right basically in an almond orchard. It’s a sweet spot.

The place was very clean and spacious! Beds were comfy rooms big enough to have your luggage in and still move around. Very nice bathrooms. The 1 bathroom plug didn't work either. We tried to support the local businesses but there isn’t much family owned. Mostly cheap chain stores and restaurants. They need more local organic food and store options.

Not a good experience for my first time to Modesto. The hotel wouldn't accept my form of payment after making all those arrangements and upgrades. Had to go to another hotel late in the evening. Very inconvenient.
