“We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. Clean but cheap. The couch wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV didn’t have an outlet to plug into or an extension cord to reach to another plug. Finally found an extension coming from the side of the refrigerator on the other side of the wall but had to move the tv over to reach. Once turned on, we were back……

“This property makes a stay at the beach perfect. The property is well cared for, very clean & stocked with all the essentials. The location in regard to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars etc can’t be beat. With all the amenities at your doorstep, everything is just a few steps away. Yet when you close the door, peace, quiet & tranquility prevail. Colonial Beach is a wonderful beach town. A great place for a vacation. Staying at this property only enhanced our stay that much more. Highly……

“The description was spot on, very close to restaurants and the Nationals ballpark”

“We were so excited to stay here. The property was in a neighborhood about 15 min drive from the Capital. We ate at Dennys (3 min drive) where the bathrooms were locked up. The waitress said someone was shot in the bathroom a few days prior and that’s why they were locking them. The interior looked the same as the pictures. I don’t think their cleaning people are that good. The floors were FILTHY! There was no outdoor pool or gym. The prop manager provided me some a vague map with DIRECTIONS to……

“It was 100 degrees in DC the day I arrived. They didn't turn the AC on even though they left 1/2 hour before our arrival time. It took hours to get the apt cool. I texted the owner but didn't hear back until the next day.There was mold in both showers, hair in both sinks and on the toilet and some on the wall. There was old urine on the toilet seat. The showers were dirty. Some towels were stained so we didn't know if they were washed. The soaps in the showers were empty. The rugs were……

“This property was an amazing choice for our family visit to DC. Check-in and check-out were super easy. The proximity to the bus line and subway station is amazing for those wanting to keep transportation to the top sites at a lower cost. The amenities were great for our family of three. The neighborhood is incredible, we walked around to take in the beauty. I would definitely choose this property again. Thanks Cam!!! ”

“I will say the owner was very responsive to our needs. Getting there the first night there was no internet or TV working and everything was closed so there wasn't much to do. Also there is a lot of windows in the place which is nice, but if you wake up with light then you need to bring some eye coverings as it was bright at 5 am.I just felt the description of the location and place wasn't what we got. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the metro, but you have to walk through a Home Depot……

“Location is the only reason the scores were this high. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. There was dog hair on the couch, dirty floors in areas, black specs on the sheets, cheap finishes, dishwasher didn’t work, walls were paper thin, bedroom outlets didn’t work at all, and we booked a different room altogether. Location was amazing. ”
