Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The elevators could use an update- they were slow and there are only 3 to go up 20 flights. Once there’s an event in one of the dining halls the elevators are jammed! But honestly otherwise the hotel was minimal thrills and just offered clean and good service. It’s close to practically everything and we walked everywhere while we were in town.

Rooms are very small. Elevators are also small. I often had to wait a couple cycles to get an elevator with enough room for me. The housekeeping was inconsistent. Did not always receive the full complement of towels and washcloths. Did not replenish coffee supplies. Great location though and the beds were comfortable enough.

Excellent location for access to downtown Chicago. Staff were uniformly nice. The Tip Top Tap, formerly a ballroom and music venue, has been closed for years.

The hotel was wonderfully situated right on the Mag Mile. Check in was easy and service was excellent. Check in us on the second floor with a lovely lounge and sitting area to the side. Our room was located on the 21st floor with beautiful views of the city. The street noise could be heard in the room but became white noise quickly. The room was tastefully decorated and elegant overall. We were attending a concert at Soldier Field and it was a comfort hour walk along Michigan Avenue (passing Millenium Park). Staying here was a wonderful experience and I hated leaving.
