"I have stayed at RIU in Guadalajara and I loved it which is why I booked RIU in Chicago. However, upon arrival, the staff member that greeted us seemed to be very annoyed and had an attitude that we were checking in at 6am, although I had previously notified them the time of our arrival. "No airport shuttle. Great breakfast and afternoon snacks. Hector is extremely nice. No one answers the phone, but will respond to a text message most of the time. A group of teenagers ran the hallway with minimal supervision. "

"Staff was friendly, hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. There is a wonderful smell as you enter the hotel every single time. Large bottles of bathroom essentials available, incase you forget something. Great proximity to all the things, food of every taste, bus stops, downtown activities and fabulous shopping. "

"I had a wonderful stay. Its right across from the pier/beach. They have a restaurant and bar is you dont want to leave. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is parking. Street parking is very limited and can only be used for short periods. The hotel parking is $70 a night. "
