"The staff at the hotel couldn’t be any better. Every single one of them was kind, helpful, super polite and they are a credit to the hotel and it’s manager. I’ve stayed here three times now and will always return when I’m in the area. Super clean, nicely appointed, great facilities and a 24 hr restaurant. Love it! "

"The check-in line was super long, and the staff was very rude when I asked about whether my room was ready after 4 pm (which was the expected check-in time). The staff member's actual words were: we have 350 rooms in this property, and you have a different room than all these people. You just have to wait. I could not believe that people like that could work in a hotel business with that kind of attitude and language. I'm never going there again. "

"They were doing renovations which was annoying to deal with, but it will likely be worth it in the end. I didn't enjoy not being able to use the stairs at all, which made the elevator wait times extra long sometimes."

"My daughter was travelling alone. It took 12 hours to get over the passes and she was too tired to keep going so I tried to get her a hotel. The hotel turned her down at the front desk because she did not have a physical credit card on her. It took us another hour and a half to get her to another room where I was able to sign a form over my email authorizing her to be able to use my credit card over the phone.She was scared and thought she was going to have to sleep in a parking lot overnight. Expedia would not give us a refund unless the hotel authoritied it. Which they refused to do. We called the hotel, intending to book a room and was not told about this new credit card policy. We then decided to check out Expedia and the rate was a little cheaper so we went with Expedia, which was nonrefundable and a big mistake. Apparently if I would’ve looked a little closer on a hidden paragraph of the hotel, I would’ve known that she would need a physical card but because I had called and the hotel didn’t say anything I didn’t think I had to also investigate it on Expedia. If you book on Expedia open up every “read more” section check everything out! Steer clear from The Vedder River Inn who showed zero compassion for a vulnerable young woman. "

"We spent one night there. The room was dirty, hair from the previous occupants, was still in the bath tub. Looked like someone vomitted on the carpet and not cleaned up. The toilet didn’t flush, the shower didn’t work well. The blow dryer kept falling off the wall when you closed the door. The heater was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. The breakfast had nothing except hard boiled eggs, two types of yogurt, two types of cereal and those weren’t good. Kids running in the halls past midnight. We had booked 5 nights and we left after one."
