We weren't aware of the airport shuttle - thats probably on us. We walked - and even in the winter - it was only about 20 minutes and nice to stretch oir legs after a flight.

Airport is new and clean. We didn't have time to explore Chitose, but this stay at Terminal hotel was very pleasant
It's too far from the city center of Sapporo.
