“Ardfern is a very pretty village and a great springboard to explore Argyll.
The decor is dark but there are tables outside and a great view of the loch from the picnic benches out back.
The bar area has a great feel and a regular stream of sailors from the local marina”
“Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening.
Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon).
Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean and comfortable with a very homey vibe. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The location is close to the main core area, an easy walk to almost anywhere in Oban. We would absolutely stay here again.”

Es gab nur 1 Handtuch für 2 Personen. Im Badezimmer gab es einen unangenehmen Geruch. Der Seifenspender ist kaputt, er rinnt.
Zum Einchecken braucht man ein Smartphone mit Internet, was bei den Nachbarn leider nicht funktionierte.
