“Comfortable bed, clean room. Room very small and had to crab around. Room overlooked kitchen extraction fan filling the room with frying smells. Booking in was difficult through the main door and had to check in though the bar at the back. Ok once we found the bar.”

“Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here.

“The property was as represented, and the view from the windows was itself worth the stay! Good breakfast basket delivered in the morning, nespresso machine, modern clean room and bathroom, bus stop very close and Connell Ferry train station 10-15 minutes walk.”
“Great location, small rooms but that’s all you need. Self check in was great too. The steam from the shower set off the fire alarm and called the fire brigade, so make sure you keep bathroom door closed. Fan in bathroom could be more powerful and a sign on the door (our room did not have any signs about this). Still would stay here again.”

“As last year, when I stayed at the Dunarle, the room was clean, the house cleaners were pleasant and efficient, and the bathroom was very clean, even though it was a shared bathroom. But some issues: there was a small desk in my room, but no chair that "fit" it. When I made this reservation, I was promised a free continental breakfast. “We did not have a good experience for the high price we paid. The communication with the manager was not great and there was no person at the guest house to check in with. The room was tiny..absolutely no place to put 3 large suitcases except on the floor. The room had a chemical smell that did make our friend ill. We had to leave early as she thought it was pneumonia but it was from the chemical smell..she is handicapped. We had to climb in the window to get back in after getting take away for……
“Nice clean room with complimentary teas & coffees in the ground floor kitchen. Lively pub underneath the hotel with bands playing. May be noisy for some but I loved it and couldn't really hear anything in rear facing room”

The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
