“We only stayed here for one night for our trip to Acadia but it was so nice! There was definitely a lot of very nice and gaudy inns around the area but they are quite pricey. This motel had clean sheets, clean bathroom, smelled good and had lots of amenities to use in the shared space and was reasonably priced. When we arrived, the internet/wifi was not really working but the property manager was so kind and helpful and tried to help before she left for the evening. The WiFi was still cutting……

“This is our go to place to stay when visiting my dad in Maine. Charming, quiet, beautiful gardens and great coffee and banana bread made by Steve who is a gracious host. Wonderful screened in porch to sit and chat or relax and take in the beauty of the gardens.”

“250 Main is a lovely hotel. Dog friendly, beautiful local art displayed, rooftop views, complimentary snacks at breakfast, and early evening. We also appreciated how the hotel supported local businesses, by not having in-house dining or amenities. I would recommend it for couples or families with small children.We did pay a high price for our room, and Expedia advertised the room to fit 2 adults, 3 teens and a dog (2 queens and a pullout). “My friends and I stayed at the farm on our way from Bar harbor to Portland. We loved staying on Denise and Bruce’s farm and would recommend it to anyone! It is quiet and relaxing but close to restaurants and you can’t beat the hospitality. Loved our time so much.”
