My husband and I spent the night there celebrating our 7 years anniversary. The check in staffs were awesome made sure we settled in ok. We didn’t like the smell in the hallway and the ice machine on our floor wasn’t working we had to walked to another floor to get ice.

Our room had clothes from the last person’s stay left in the room, some kind of red substance that looked like blood stains on the curtains, the entire area where the tv and refrigerator completely covered in dust. Not to mention the hike we had to walk just to get to the room. I will never stay at a double tree again because of this terrible experience.

People sitting in their cars with their doors open and/or loitering around the property late at night. Upon entering the hotel there were at least 8 individuals (not in one group) standing or loitering around the entrance, did not create a welcoming environment.

My room wasn’t ready at 4pm check in…had to wait 2 hours!! Checked in at 6:15 to find the tv in my room didn’t work…maintenance had to come in move the bed and rewire it. This made me late for my event..I was given a ticket for a free appetizer at the restaurant and when I went to redeem it I was told they only had mozzarella sticks 😒 I don’t eat cheese…I highly don’t recommend this hotel

I reserved 2 double bed rooms and, paid extra to get pool view rooms. When I got to the double tree they said they don’t have any pool view rooms available. Then we get the rooms the rooms are dirty, dusty. Then the fridge was not working. I let the front know my concerns. They sent a maintenance guy the next evening when he came to the room he replaced the fridge. When he removed the old fridge there was so much dust he said he was going to send house keeping to come clean they never came the whole stay never once did house keeping come to ether rooms then I asked for the complimentary cookies they charged us $12 The staff was very rude and I asked for a cart to take my bags to the room they said there’s no carts.Pool was closed whole time we were there .

Try be pool closed at 9 o clock, on weekends and every night. Very early for summer and the hotel being full with kids. The staff screed our reservations I needed a handicap room for my sister they gave her a room on 3rd floor. The chair in our room was falling apart the shower had rust in it. The house keeper came in our room at random times, one time I came back from pool and there she was in our bathroom. The customer service reps were not helpful at all. The bartender was very rude. I love our local Doubletree double tree of westlake Ohio needs lots of work, but I would not recommend it to anyone.

A very dated property, and clearly had very little money invested in it since its opened. Rooms are falling apart, wallpaper, carpet etc. Hair in the bathroom so wasn’t cleaned properly. We arrived late to check in around 11pm and had to wait over 30mins. It was fine for a one nighter but having stayed in Double Tree by Hilton’s around the world, this is by far the worst one I’ve been too.
