“My room was tiny, with poor ventilation, and there was no air conditioning. Despite extreme heat, the staff was unsympathetic and disinterested. Very poor customer service, overpriced, and not as advertised.”

“My husband and I stayed here for two nights while traveling. Front desk was really friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I ended up being sick for a whole day and missed what the surrounding had to offer. But the hotel bed was very comfortable for me to spend the day in. Also, my husband enjoyed the Leisure center while I rested.”

“Rooms were on 3rd floor and only 1 room of the 2 we got had a fan. Windows only open slightly and unfortunately it was in the 80s when we were there. I would ask if there is a fan in your room for sure.”

“Caveat emptor! It’s been a while since i have even seen an actual double bed, let alone have to squeeze into one with my partner. Usually when a hotel advertises a double bed, they mean a queen, or even a king. We paid €240 ($400 CDN) for that dubious privilege. If you need to spread out a bit, as we do, it’s not acceptable. Way overpriced. That said, the host was hospitable, the included breakfast good and the location central.”

“Wonderful stay in a crowded tourist area. Beds were plush and warm. Room was beautiful with lounging bathtub. Drapes made of the most beautiful wool! Staff were happy and helpful in spite of all the tours coming in. We were not in a tourist group. Amazing location! Parked the car and walked to mills/store and all around the castle grounds. Pub Food was delicious: freshest vegetables, tender meat and kind wait staff. Cold rainy night and the food was hot and yummy! My husband bought his……
