“Hawkstone is a fabulous place to stay. A truly beautiful building in an off the beaten track location in the Shropshire countryside. It has a lovely garden to explore and a gym for those with more energy. The breakfasts were fresh and varied too. And not least of all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, the music playing in every public room was rather overbearing. It even extended to the outdoor terrace and could be heard in our bedroom. (from early morning till……

“Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. ”
