“The area had been hit hard by an ice storm recently. We appreciated that Jay had the place all cleared of branches and limbs. We didn't use the upstairs bedrooms so can't comment on those, but the master bedroom downstairs had a very comfortable bed. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry area was well supplied. Very dog friendly with large fenced back yard. Host Jay was easy to contact and replied quickly. We stayed a week and enjoyed visits to the Shiloh Battlefield National……

“This cabin was REALLY out of the way. Tucked way back in the woods on top of Bankhead nature preserve. We saw lots of deer tracks all over the property. It has a hudge pond but I wouldn't recommend trying to fish in it. It is vary shallow and has alot of grass and debre in it. But, if you'r looking to get away from everyone and everything this is the place to go. It is, in my words the perfectlt placed for a writer to gather there thoughts and organize ideas. It's definitely a place to escape……
