“This was perfect! It was cute and clean. Had a small kitchenette and wonderFUL bathroom with amazing tub. We literally wanted to stay another night just for the tub. Easy check-in and check out. Close to “Snug Harbor” restaurant and that was yummy and reasonably priced! Beautiful views! I can’t say enough good things. This is certainly a hidden gem and worth it. ❤️”

“We absolutely loved our stay at this riverfront paradise! The cottage was very well stocked and the host was wonderful. 110% Recommend!”

“My husband and I stayed at Heidis place while visiting GR for an appointment. The carriage house was perfect for one night. Clean space, beautiful location and easy check-in. The pool looked inviting, but we were too busy to jump in. There is a fenced area near the pool that kept the backyard seperate from the space you're in which was nice since we had our pups with us. -Just a heads up to future guests: the Keurig was there but no coffee pods only tea pods, and there were no paper towels. “We were very content at this property! It is a great location for walking to the main strip of shops & restaurants, with still being calm & quiet (minus the construction project going on at the time, but the owner was very up front about it which we appreciated) We enjoyed walking to the Chinook Pier & some of our favorite places to eat were Lucy's, Kirby House, Snug Harbor, & Morning Star Cafe. Overall we had a great trip in Grand Haven! ”

“Great place to stay with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Lots of extras included which is such a bonus. Had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor space as well, great lake. Amazing fishing with blue gill, sun fish, perch, bass, pike, and bowfin. Kids stayed busy for hours. The kids loved kayaking, fishing from the paddle boat, and swimming on the raft. If we ever come back to this area would definately stay again!! ”

“We really liked this rental. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy with the neighbors but things calmed down over the week which was nice. The screened porch was great and we used it a lot. One thing to be aware of which is not a criticism it's just how it is, that the swimming platform in front of the property is not owned by the property (it's been upgraded from the pictures in the listing and there are two diving boards on it and it's really nice). “This was a rather last minute booking, so to find something this perfect to be available was a real surprise. The property had everything we needed, could use some upgrades to the patio furniture ..of the two chairs provided, when we moved the back cushion of one we noticed the entire backing was blown out, and the second one began to crack during our stay, so we had to get creative with borrowing chairs from my brother who fortunately lives in town. No real complaints though! Neighbors were a……

“We loved the house! It was very relaxing to sit on in the sun room with the windows open and listen to the trees, birds and feel the cool breeze. We loved the rustic look! The homes had everything you needed for a great trip! Each room had a fan and multiple outlets. It was a work out to get to the house, up all the steps but we loved it and it was very unique.”

“Had a wonderful time. Nice small updated cottage type home neslted in woods on a hillside near the lake. We stayed in wintertime so tree leaves we gone and had a view of the lake.The properrty itself is not large, but ample enough to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub.Mike, the host, was wonderful. Quick communication before and during our stay. Thanks Mike! A couple things worth noting: the two bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. “We enjoyed this property so much! The beds are very comfortable with high end linens. The furniture is not only comfortable but beautiful as well! Our grandkids loved the boogie boards and beach toys and our adult kids enjoyed the two paddle boards. The view of the lake is awesome and the beach is very walkable. “The property was excellent, great location and amenities. Everything we needed (linens, towels, pot, pans) were all provided and in great condition. The checkin/ checkout process were very easy and not overly burdensome like some rentals are. The beach was a 5 minute walk, town close by and tons of places to get food and good playgrounds for the kids. Can’t say enough good things. ”
