“Room 18, one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in a hotel. Paid $206 the night! they had to do the housekeeping in the moment we arrived (8:30pm) the room was dirty and not ready, and after that all sheets and towels are yellow color, looks old, carpet full of black disgusting stains, weird stains in the sheets, completely disgusting and crazy expensive. “We had a relaxing, clean, and comfortable stay in Cortez. The proximity to Mesa Verde and Hovenweep was a big bonus. The owners of the casita were terrific to work with. We would stay here again!”

“This little place is super cute and SO easy to stay in. The light switches and drawers all included labels, so finding things was really simple. Lots of really cool pine countertops, tables and shelves (if you appreciate quality woodwork). The location was quiet and pastoral, but only a few miles from Cortez and its assortment of restaurants. If I ever head to Mesa Verde again - which I may - this will be my first choice.”

“Wonderful, welcoming and comfy! All of the rooms are much larger than the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of plates, cups, bowls, and utensils for large groups. Beds were comfy. Careful consideration for toddler's and little ones throughout the home. The host was wonderful! We were in town because our Mom was in the hospital. He was so kind and understanding of our situation. Will definitely recommended to all our family and friends coming from out of town! Lovely place!”
