No bistro, 24/7 mini mart, and Starbucks coffee.

We stayed one night with our three kids under the age of 8. We took them to Newport on the Levee and ran around the hotel. We picked this particular hotel because it offered a 24/7 mini mart, a bistro, and Starbucks coffee all day. When we arrived, the mini mart, bistro, and the coffee were all "closed for the holidays". We picked this place so we wouldn't have to pack a ton of snacks or have to leave to get food once we were in for the night. It was very disappointing. We live locally so it wasn't like we had to stay in Covington, we just wanted to have a fun weekend out with the kids so I could have and would have picked a different hotel if they would have made it clear that the bistro, etc., would not be available. The kids had fun at the pool. Had the pool been closed, we would not have stayed.
