“Very cold no heating had to ask then ask again They let us in to room early but it had not been cleaned so Covid is a bad risk as not been disaffected so would have rather left our stuff in the car until later”

“Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great.”

“Great room, obviously recently modernised, very clean, very quiet. Breakfast was good/hot, though the pastries werent great. The young lady looking after breakfast was fab, single handedly doing everything, and doing it very well.. Check in wasnt great, 3 people behind the desk, (2 chatting possibly about work ) and 1 couple taking foreeeever to check in. Eventually a 2nd person came free, and check in started. By the time we were checked in ( which was fairly quick), there was a huge queue……

“Hotel staff is always welcoming and helpful and beds are super comfy. Hotel is located in a very convenient area when visiting areas around Wirral and a nice stop when travelling further south and free parking on site. ”

“room was clean and tidy. staff were very helpful. breakfast menu was very good and we had the continental breakfast with a good range of food and drink. also had evening meal which was superb.”

“Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. ”

“Well from the welcome to the last minute we could not fault this place. Location fantastic with great views of the River Dee. All the staff weee super friendly even the manager/owner! We checked in slightly early at 13:30pm, had a couple of drinks in the bar to then later on having evening meal all fab. Plenty of choice on the menu and delicious.. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The shower super powerful. Sockets either side of the bed as well. The breakfast was really good……

“Luckily we did get a parking space as they can be limited. Beautiful room and lovely and clean. Bar well stocked. Breakfast had a variety of choices. ”
