“We stayed at Sapphire Beach Resort in St. Maarten and unfortunately the first room we were given was very disappointing. It clearly needed renovation, everything looked old and scratched, there was no hot water, and the bathroom is in serious need of a full update. Even the fridge was very outdated and not appealing. This left us with a very negative first impression and affected our first day.
We requested to be moved and were given another room, which was much better. It appeared newly……

“Enjoying the Caribbean is always a crap shoot, Oyster Bay at this time of year was definitely a mix of good and bad. The counter staff was horrible but the bar and cleaning crews were so great!!!! I think this was the first time I have been hung up on in years but the actual staff that did the work were amazing. Poor customer service but great service, if that makes sense. If you want to relax this is the place, if you’re looking for a little action I don’t recommend Oyster Bay at this time of……

“I would love to give 5 stars, the resort was nice, clean for the most part and food was good except for at The Mix, which we had to pay an extra $45 per person for as it was not included in our AI package.
The resort as a whole was very short staffed which caused all staff to be over worked and most not so friendly. Most staff members never smiled when approached whether it be at checkin or front desk in general, or at all restaurants and bars. There were a few exceptions where certain staff……
