“We stayed at Sapphire Beach Resort in St. Maarten and unfortunately the first room we were given was very disappointing. It clearly needed renovation, everything looked old and scratched, there was no hot water, and the bathroom is in serious need of a full update. Even the fridge was very outdated and not appealing. This left us with a very negative first impression and affected our first day. We requested to be moved and were given another room, which was much better. It appeared newly……

“Was told they were “closed” when I asked for more tissue, I’m not even sure what that meant. Was charged a different price for the cleaning fee upon arrival. Was told the wrong hours for the pool.”

“This hotel is near everything on the dutchside which is great! But not very clean washer and dryer was broken never seen hot tub or pool. The staff was very unfriendly! The break fast that you pay for upon booking reservation. Is located downstairs in the market and its weigh its only until 10 am and it is not replenished so if you dont get down there early you will not have much variety for $11 on website which is not bad does not include beverage. I just feel this should of been mentioned……

“The property was good, nice location and the room was super clean. The front desk clerk, Latoya, was super friendly and provided suggestions for where we could eat and even grab a few groceries. We had alot of bags, which she helped us carry to our room. Very impressed with the staff/service in the hotel. Thank you all.”
