"The Maison is a quaint hotel located in the lower Garden District with close proximity to the World War museum and right off the St Charles street car line. A peaceful relaxing place with security all day long. The property has a tropical southern colonial feel and is near some good restaurants and bars. Staff are attentive and the room maids are very nice. The place isn't anything luxurious but comfortable and relaxing. Pool and hot tub make it relaxing after a long day on the town or Jazz Fest. Breakfast is served for convenience for a nominal fee. Recommended if you dont want to pay for name brand hotel but still have a place that is comfortable."

"It’s a charming hotel in a great location in the garden district. The trolley runs right outside the door. Beds were comfortable, room spacious and the air conditioning very noisy. The meals we ate were delicious. My biggest complaint was the staff. We asked for things multiple times and by the end of our stay had still not received what we asked for."

"Not a fancy place but oh yes, excellent place if you are looking for a homely environment that’s very clean and wonderful staff. The room at this place was really huge and very clean. I usually never take a bath but I did at this place, so you can tell how clean this place was. There’s a good Chinese restaurant across the street. Overall, i liked this place a lot. Mostly if you are traveling solo, business trip or looking for budget place but 5star cleanliness/friendly front desk staff…book at the Riverside Hotel"
