Beds were super comfortable, a/c worked really good in the room and there was a heat wave while we were there so that helped. Not the most updated hotel but we knew before we went and I don’t care that much about that as long as it’s clean. Which it was. Staff was friendly and helpful, the dockside restaurant has great food. Loved the cabanas by the water. Ordered a drink to our cabana and it turned out to be $40 Canadian so wouldn’t suggest doing that but just wanted to do it because I could. Location is fairly good. Not a ton of good restaurants in the area though. Dockside and the coaster saloon are my suggestions. Easy to grab a bus into town or uber. Halfway up Mission Beach towards Pacifica Beach are some good restaurants though. A bit of a walk but could rent a bike or take the bus.
